Is it better to bake or broil steak?

Broiling is applying intense, direct heat from above and is equal to upside-down grilling of a steak. The broiler pan is usually located at the bottom of a gas stove or at the top of an electric stove. Baking is cooking using dry heat. Baking a steak may lock in the flavors, but you do risk drying the meat out. Dec 5, 2015
