Barn Cats!!! I am attempting to help an elderly couple that is having significant health issues place many, many barn cats. They will be vaccinated and altered. I am under the impression that they are not completely wild but not totally tame either. Any suggestions to help these cats would be appreciated. Thanks!
Horse show season is here! Kerry took a crew up to Green Bay and Chrissy and Sara have a crew down in Illinois. Two photos from the hunter/jumper show and an adorable picture of Chrissy’s girls helping at the horse trials (Lizzy rocking the WRS onesie!)
Chrissy and Dominik have an audience during a training ride. So nice to see everyone enjoying the sunshine! Time to get the lawn furniture out.
A great picture of two great friends. Sadly, Rasta (on the right) crossed the rainbow bridge today. Rest in peace Rasta Pasta.
Congratulations to Malorie and Clint on their engagement. Luckily, Apollo was included in the special moment that happened at the barn. Smart move Clint, always include the horse!
All WR Eventing riders did very well this past weekend at the IEA Horse Trials, including our own Cassie and Wren. Congratulations to all of Chrissy and Sara’s students!
The entire Willow Run family wishes all the best to our vet, our boarder, and most importantly our friend Courtney as she star, ts a new adventure in Virginia! So glad to hear you made the journey safely, wish we were there to help you unpack!
Just a mere seven days after having a beautiful baby girl, Chrissy sneaks away from her motherly duties to squeeze in one more lesson for Courtney and Harley. She is a super mom!
The first official ride in the outdoor arena of the year goes to Sue and Hugo!
This is a fantastic idea. Lord willing they would never be needed. Could also come in handy for a loose horse or other emergency.
A big congratulations to Kerry Zemlicka and Boo for a very successful week at the Sport Horse Nationals in Virginia. The pair was reserve champion in the green working hunter division, a top ten in the low jumpers, and CHAMPION in the combined test! Boo is one versatile girl. Could eventing be in their future???
Otter Creek Horse Trials this weekend. Good luck WR Eventing crew!
After a fun (and very close to home!) Wisconsin Equine Derby last weekend, a very large group of riders headed across the lake to Michigan for the Richland Park Horse Trials. This is a huge event with higher levels competing – good luck to all riders!
