I was asked to post this pic by a very special client who LOVES ‘The’ Spike and his silly antics. Yes he drank my water straight from the bottle. Lol Gotta love Spike
One of the reasons we loved doing the Autism Immersion Camp with SPOTS House is getting to work with Hayden. On Monday Hayden was reluctant, impulsive and non expressive. By Thursday he was waiting patiently with ‘his’ horse Turk, participating in all the sensory therapies and was able to express that he loved Turk. Horses have an amazing impact on kids with autism and sensory processing disorders as well as other issues. Hayden is a great example of what can be accomplished when you include horses in the therapy sessions.
Autism Immersion Camp is a wrap. Leah and Elizabeth want to say a very special thank you to all the volunteers who gave of their time and energy to make this week so successful! Cheri and Chuck Michael Sylvia, Nancy, Diane Mollie, Sadie, Shania, Lizzie. Laura, Anna, Sammy, Berlyn We could not have done it without this amazing group!
Last day of Autism Immersion Camp And what fun!! These kids left their mark everywhere On our hearts. On our horses. Fun and learning hand in hoof
WQOW-TV story featuring the Autism Immersion Program. This is a partnership with St Josephs Hospital S.P.O.T.s program and Trinity Equestrian Center. What a great week of awareness as the participants are learning new tools of interaction.
Day 3 autism immersion camp To yall this is a big bucket of tangled tack. But to our camp kids this is sensory, tactile and OT doing buckles, clips, clasps etc.
Autism Immersion Camp– yes these children are definitely leaving hoof prints on our hearts,, more pics to follow.
Horse having their day ends chat. Horse on Left: “Hi, How has your day been? Right horse: “Oh, I was with the Autism Immersion Program. Wow did I have some fun, they were so gentle with me.” Left Horse: “I had a really great time seeing my Veteran rediscover his own value to everyone he loves.” Right horse: “Yeah, we have the best jobs in the world!!” Left Horse: “Besides we get so much loving care. sure do like my job, it’s more fun than work!” Friends of TEC, your contribution through recurring donations help TEC to continue to offer these programs and more as well as keep our horses fed, healthy, and able to be the important member of the team.
The class is at full capacity. However, Elizabeth, Dir of this program is asking for additional volunteers over these next 4 days. Can you spare a few hours during the morning M-Thursday? Call or come to Trinity Equestrian Center. Make a Difference!!!
Autism Awareness Camp is Monday July 27 Tuesday July 28 Wednesday July 29 Thursday July 30 from 9am until 10;30am. All slots for this weeks session is full! But we still could use volunteers for horse leaders and helpers! Please contact Elizabeth or Leah if you can help!! Thank you!!!!
After the rain appears the promise from the Heavens. the beautiful rainbow. The rainbow embracing TEC reminds us all that the variety of programs offered to adults and children is a promise of opening doors of discovery within each person. Discovery the promise of reaching high to recovery, expansion, healing, self esteem, love, trust, and finding a positive relationship of mind, body, and soul.

All the staff at Trinity take their jobs quite seriously. But when you get to work with this guy. You just have to laugh. A Peanut selfie. Just because. He makes us smile
