The Duke of Devon – Restaurant

The Duke of Devon is an English Pub located on Sheboygan’s Historic riverfront. The Duke of Devon. Overpriced, mediocre food and the service was very slow. We went with our family and really wanted to like this place. It was a pile of lettuce with a scant amount of toppings and only three shrimp on it. The rest of the food was your run of the mill pub fair, but overpriced.
It took about 40 minutes to get our food after placing our order and they weren’t very busy. Definitely not going back.
Here from Michigan on a Saturday night. A cool place but very laid back.
Not a lot of women. Not a place to go if your looking for excitement. Will come back again. Great food, we were all happy (Except for the fish special which was poorly done, but they ran out of the original fish special so we probably got subpar items) This is not authentic UK food, which is a big compliment!
The curry (with extra spice) was great, everything was filled with tasty firm veggies or a generous portion was served on the side which is highly appreciated, it was rich but at the same time natural which is really nice. The only downside was the price, Dinner, two apps, and a 1.5 drinks per person came to an average of 45 bucks per person. Pretty pricey night for (Very good) pub food and a few beers and ciders.
A great place to come and have well made comfort food.
They are very overpriced.
