Hello Everybody!!! Just wanted to say hi, we miss you all! Still working on a couple projects and we will keep you informed. You may know that a new business is moving into our old location. We wish them the best but want to point out that Southside Square, Brett Dolce, and Scott Coughlin are in no way affiliated with the new venture. . Internet Pro-Tip 64: Please do not share other people’s private inside jokes on social media. Especially important in a small town. Hope to see you all soon!
As many of you may know I have been contemplating moving on from the restaurant in its present arrangement and have decided that we will be closing after June 30. (The short notice is not to be a jerk, it was basically decided a while after Brett found out he had to leave but we don’t have the help or supplies to cover some kind of mad rush!) This was a very difficult operation to run with Brett and I (and the help of great friends!), and as I could continue on myself (with . the help of great friends!), I just don’t want to, I need some bit of a personal life back and if there were any more signs to move on we would owe Mel Gibson and Five Man Electrical Band a ton of royalties. Things are going well, and for the most part always have but this business was set up for Brett and I and and the core idea is ours, not someone else’s to come in and share. Scott and Brett would like to thank all of our friends and family and most importantly our customers that supported us and help make Southside Square a success. I am presently working on ideas for the near future for something similar but this is in the initial stages. If anyone is interested in discussing some sort of project, please contact me via a message through this site. Brett and I are also working on a couple of exciting ideas that are in the VERY initial stages including, but not limited to a book entitled; Southside Square: The Soul Scarring Tale Of How Hopes And Dreams Are Completely Crushed By Absolutely Improbable Random Events That Will Cause You To Question Your Sanity. (It’s a working title…) Please keep liking our page as will update with any working projects we have going. Please pass this along as no one knows how facebook actually works any more. Thanks, Scott
Summer Hours (Temporary) Mon: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm Tues: CLOSED Wed: CLOSED. Thu-Sat: 12:00pm – 11:00pm Sun: 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm On slower nights we may close a little early as business warrants. Thanks! And we hope to see you soon.
We have our lighting issue fixed so we should be back to normal(?). We’ll have our summer hours posted soon. We’re happy to see the layout changed again here, it’s about time!
Do to an unbelievably annoying kitchen lighting problem we will not be open tonight. We hope to have this fixed ASAP. Sorry, but we hope to see you soon!
Well, we will be closing at 6:00pm Sunday. Our “OPEN” sign fell off the window with a frightening crash and I took that as another sign. Go out and honor a Veteran, grill up some food with friends and family, have your beverage of choice, and enjoy our allotment of summer this Holiday. See you soon!
Memorial Day Hours: Sunday 12:00 – ? – (Profit) Monday Closed (Memorial Day) Tuesday Closed (extra day off). Wednesday Closed (as usual) Thursday 2:00 – 11:00pm Friday 12:00 – 11:00pm We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday! See you soon.
To cheap drink douche who gamed the credit card charge: come back and pay like a man, I know who you are.
As a lot of you may know, one of us will be leaving do to spousal relocation. Obviously this will be cause for some personnel adjustments so please bear with us as we try to work out these changes. We will keep you all informed as we work everything out. We will also be adjusting our summer hours to help with the transition. In the meantime we will be bring you the same great food as always! As always, we hope to see you soon!!!
We know it’s kind of hard to think about a nice hot bowl of chili when Spring is in the air, but just a reminder that we have our famous House Chili and also right now a Southwest Pork Chili (No Beans!). So throw on a pair of shorts and t-shirt and come on down!
On a completely unrelated separate note: Since our whiskey of choice (for our BBQ sauce only) has been bought out by a company in a country better known for it’s weird cartoons than Bourbon, we are taking ideas for a replacement. American Bourbon (not Jim or Jack): Give us some ideas! Thanks.
We have to apologize but we are extremely short handed again tonight so we will be unable to deliver orders. Please bear with us until we are back to normal(?). Thanks for your understanding! Hope to see you soon.
We will have the “Menu Tab” up ASAP. If I could explain to you how much of a pain in the a$$ this is without alienating sensitive people with my lurid description, your heads would spin. If they made some of the things a business would like to do even the slightest bit “user friendly”, maybe this facebook thing would have more users. Hope to see you soon.
This kind of weather is awesome. when you are a ski and snowmobile god living in Breckenridge, Colorado. Here it just sucks. On that note, we will probably be closing early tonight so try to get your orders in before the Badgers are done beating indiana. See you soon.
Probably should have posted this earlier, but we are back to our normal delivery situation.
We will be able to do limited deliveries tonight. Keep in mind that deliveries over a mile or so may be receiving an frozen entree. (that goes for every restaurant, don’t be fooled. )
Do to the extreme cold we will be unable to do deliveries tonight. As awesome as we are, even we can’t make mechanical devises (car) work in this ridiculous cold. Sorry and thanks for your understanding.
Yea, we ain’t going to be open tonight. On another note, anyone who comes and fixes my tire and gets my car star, ted gets a free pizza in July. Hope to see you soon.
Sorry we haven’t been able to keep up but we got to get this out there: December Specials, try them all! (Seriously, you won’t be disappointed): Southwest Cajun Fiesta Pizza. 1/2 lb. Patty Melt Burger Lasagna! Pictures, descriptions, and witty banter to follow. Thanks, and hope to see you soon!!!
While it seems that everyone loves our daily “House Chili”, some of you have asked for something a little more spicy. So, I’ve got something to get you all hot and bothered, and I made some spicy chili. I got this recipe form a business associate I had when I lived out West. I haven’t heard from him in a while, probably the old ball and chain. Jesse’s Albuquerque Surprise: “It’s got Chile Powder in it, B$tch”
Very friendly worker and great prices! But best yet the food is amazing! Certainly enjoyed my burger!! WELL PREPARED!! Thank you Scott!
As a Jersey native I highly recommend the strombolli. .best I’ve had anywhere in the Midwest since moving here in 1986.
