We’re not letting these storms get us down here in Muskego! Our generator is working hard so that we are still able to enjoy a hot lunch of Salisbury steaks, mashed potatoes with gravy and California veggies!

Lena H., our fantastic Med Tech, delivers TLC to every one of our residents here at Muskego!

Memorial Day is not about having a day off of work with cookouts, parties or bonfires. It’s a day to remember our revered servicemen and women who willingly gave their lives so that we may live freely.

Angie, our Super Star Activity Director, is at it again. She’s getting ready for another fun activity with our residents. They will be making light-up fireflies made from Easter eggs!

We are finally able to get out on our patio. Check out our awesome view! Lovin’ the lake life.

Reminiscing about a beloved, long-time resident today . Here are a few special things about her that we will miss: She loved dogs and treasured hearing about the newest, naughtiest things our dogs did at home. She looked younger than her age, and always had to have a headband in her hair. She was so patient with us, as we were with her. . She loved her dining room table mates and carried on conversations with them in her own quiet, smiling way. She is sorely missed by each of them. She was beautiful. We will see you again one day, D.

Just like any normal home, our home is pet-friendly too! Meet little Milo, who belongs to Missy, our MDS Coordinator. Milo is visiting this week, as he is just too cute to leave at home alone!

Tacos, rice and beans for lunch, and now non-alcoholic Margaritas in honor of Cinco de Mayo!

It’s all daffodils, vast blue sky and sunshine in Muskego. Enjoy this day!

We’re kicking off baseball season today with almost all the residents glued to the TV watching our Brewers! And with bellies full of our special picnic, too!

Just a collection of the faith-based bookmarks our Bible Hymns volunteer, Pat, has made for us. She faithfully shows up each Monday to sing to us. Impressively, she alone is the photographer, designer, printer AND laminator of these pieces, which she distributes to everyone she passes in our building. We are thankful for her.

Easter egg dyeing is currently in progress! Check ‘em out!

Good Friday is celebrated with our residents by enjoying a fish fry luncheon, and dyeing literally hundreds of Easter Eggs as part of a service project this afternoon. Happy Easter, everyone!

So what does our resident and staff family do on a frigid Friday? Sip on mugs of hot chocolate and share companionship, of course!
