Hi all, A friend of mine will have these rare and valuable pieces available to view and sell . Here is the history and information: This rare and valuable wrought iron settee and side chair were crafted by the renowned Joseph Leinfelder & Sons in La Crosse, Wisconsin, during the 1930s. These particular items appeared in the 1934 Leinfelder catalog. The pieces feature some unique features, including the twisted “bird cage” connectors and the woven iron seats. Cyril Leinfelde. r was the furniture designer at the company, who worked at Leinfelder in La Crosse from 1925 to 1939, when he moved to Texas. When he left, the furniture business at Leinfelder ended. Leinfelder began mass marketing its wrought iron lawn furniture through the Merchandise Mart in Chicago and through Mary Ryan on Fifth Ave. in NYC. Leinfelder is very valuable and appreciates over time. A Leinfelder bench was appraised during an episode of Antiques Road Show for $13,000. Recently, John Leinfelder, a descendent of the founders of the company, has personally verified the authenticity and value of the pieces. They are in excellent condition, given to me by the original La Crosse owner. For the first time buyers – wrought iron patio furniture is different from cast iron patio furniture. Cast Iron and wrought Iron are forms of Iron that differ in their carbon content and inclusions. Cast Iron is heavier and more fragile than wrought iron, which is easier to weld and form into shapes. Asking price for both pieces (not sold separately):$3,000.

Sorry, I just have to post at least one shot from Emma Smerud senior session from yesterday. I have only used this window with the curtains closed once before; when I first moved into the studio. And now the last week I am there, I am using them again for the last time. Full circle and bittersweet. I am glad I am ending with something memorable.

I had a dream to create a haven to inspire me and to welcome warmly those people that chose me to capture their lives and loves for eternity. I also dreamed of sharing wonderful times, creating memories with friends and fellow artists within the walls that I would find to be my sanctuary. Much love, thought and labor were poured into this space. But for everything there is a season. . and it is time to let someone else love and live in this home, to star, t their lives as a c. ouple. I will continue on in my journey of sharing my passion of photography with those I love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for entrusting your future memories of your precious loved ones with me. You inspired me, You have enriched my life! For that, I most grateful. You will always be called, “Friend”. I will be able to create portraits on the beautiful vistas of this sweet little parcel of Heaven. Or Krissa and I will come to your home, your business, or where ever your heart lies, to create for you, art that is worthy of you. I thank you for your love, your trust, your loyalty and all the beautiful memories that we have made together. With heartfelt love, Theresa

Singin In The Rain. Support Arts in schools!

Folks, this is why I do the crazy things I do. These kids are the reason. They all deserve to have their chance to be on stage. There are so many invaluable life lessons and disciplines that these kids navigate and learn in the process of perfecting and performing. More than anything else, this is the number one thing that will continue to tug at my heartstrings and make me say “yes”. Every one can participate, everyone is welcome regardless of talent, gender, creed, race and financial ability!

The spring that follows the winter bareness of the soul.

Just because this day feels beautiful!

With so much negativity and polarizing judgments being shared by many, I thought today that it would be nice to share something that is innocent, positive and carefree.

Capturing Sarah’s love for animals at twight, made for a memorable and lovely session.

Thank you Misty Lown for inviting me to capture her fantastic and inspiring weekend in gorgeous, sunny San Diego. A lot of fantastic dance studio owners shared ideas and made friendships that will last a lifetime. It was not all hard work though. a spontaneous dance break broke out after last night’s dinner. Fun was had by all!

Positive thought for the week. Happy back to school everyone!.
