Over the years this beautiful young lady has become more then a client – she is like a little sis to me. We have certainly seen our share of ups and downs, shared many laughs and tears. She has so much dedication, perseverance and strength – I am proud to be her coach. Today was a well earned, well deserved ribbon. I could not be any happier for Kendra and Patch as I watch them grow into this amazing team and watch her come into her own as a rider. She has come a long way from that quiet pony rider and deserves every bit of success that comes her way.

Day two. just as successful as day one!!! Brooke & Lila were double clean and 5th in the hopeful jumpers, Nikki & Meadow are two for two with another win in their metered division, Roman & perfect ended up 2nd, Kendra & Patch were 2nd in the low amateurs and are going to try there hand at the meter 30 maffitt lake stake tomorrow, florentino was great but had an unfortunate rail in the jump off forcing him just out of the ribbons, Ava & sky successfully completed their first Hunter course together finishing in third, but the smile on her face was worth more than any ribbon! Bring on day 3!!

I’d say day one at Maffitt Lake Equestrian Center was a huge success for everyone!! I Could not be any more proud of the team. Not only are they all supportive and helpful of each other but they all brought forth their best rounds on their horses in the show ring. Brooke & Lila star, ted our day off in the hopeful jumpers with a 3rd. Nikki & Meadow and Roman & Perfect then went on to each win their jumper classes. Florentino was 4th in his metered class and unfortunately lost a. shoe before he could move up but was more then ready to play, Kendra had yet another great round on Patch and proves her consistency over the bigger fences every time she steps in the ring, Bella was a bit fresh and feisty but walked in the meter 15 ready to rock (no pun intended) with just an unfortunate rail and last Sky won his under saddle in the Hott Open Hunters and was 2nd over fences. Ava is very excited for tomorrow to ride him in her first ‘A’ show. With such a spectacular day one I CAN NOT wait to see what day two is going to bring. Great job team Northstar! Representing well.

We are on the road to Two Rivers Summer Festival at Maffitt Lake Equestrian center! We are sad that Traders Point was cancelled but look forward to a new show and a great week ahead!

Bella’s third clean qualifying round! Now I can relax until Kentucky!

I love this little mare!!! She may be small in size but big in heart!! Only clean 5 year old today!

So proud of Bella she was such a good girl today!!

Trail ride after sleepover! Not sure how they are all still awake!

Well. we survived out first barn sleepover!! Lots of fun and laughs – from painting, to foot races, building a human pyramid and watching it crash relaxing on the theraplate, and a bonfire with s’mores, last sleeping in the hay barn. Thanks to all the parents who brought food and drinks. And thanks to all the “kids” big and little for making it a memorable evening. Can’t wait for the next one – I think we star, ted a tradition.

Another great day!!! So proud of this amazing group! Again so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such a wonderful group of clients and friends. Nikki and Meadow were the star, s of the day winning the child/adult jumper classic and the modified jumpers, Ashley and Tucker helped make it a one two finish for us by getting 2nd in the child/adult jumper classic. Angelique and Flor also had a great finish to the classic and a awesome first show together winning a blue yesterday. . Kelly and Countero, Morgan and Grant, Sydney and Nick, and Lily and Rain all made their first debut in the jumper ring pulling in many great ribbons. Connie and Bob brought home the blue yesterday. Carrie and lola conquered the jumpers and moved up a division while Maya did a beautiful job maneuvering her green mare around a clear round. Stephanie and N’Sync were blazing fast and pulled off some crazy good turns. Gil-Helene and Mo made great strides every time they entered the ring. Addison and Juliet ended up reserve champion in the poles division. Over all – I’d say it was a SUCCESS!!!! Thanks to everyone who helped and who came to support the team. Week of rest and off to ledges we go.

Couldn’t pick a better facility or trainer for my daughter! Love!
