Our first visit to Fratello’s Riverfront Restaurant in Appleton, however we have visited their other location in Oshkosh. many times. The spring time, bustling Fox River brought us to the riverfront this evening and Fratello’s is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty. We asked our waiter, bartender how long this Fratello’s had been on the river front, it was his 3rd day, and 1st day bartending so we found the answer together – 10 years. He was helpful and courteous and made our visit comfortable. A glass of cabernet for her and a Wisconsin staple – an Old Fashioned for me – both perfectly served at the window counter so we could watch the racing Fox RIver smash into the lonely concrete pylons in the middle of the river. We shared a order of crispy calamari and a bowl of the famous white chicken chili – delicious. Make sure you try the white chicken chili when you visit Fratello’s – I believe you’ll love it. Check out Fratello’s for the location and stay for the hospitality and delicious menu. Enjoy.

I got a fish salad with green beans and veggies not sure what it was called but I absolutely did NOT like it mainly because I didn’t know it was served cold.
I didn’t even say anything to the waitress about it and they brought a manager over to ask what was wrong and I just said I didn’t know it was cold and that I didn’t like it. Long story short The appetizer we got was free including my meal I didn’t like!
And they even offered if I wanted something else. Great service and I was highly impressed with that attention. I was going to leave like it was nothing so I wouldn’t be offending anyone. Thank you for giving us the opportunity. Wow, what great windows to overlook the rushing water blowing off the dam. Great service serving up excellent cinnamon pork and butternut squash raviolis!
The wood fired pizzas are excellent too. Make sure you come here during daylight to enjoy the great views of the river.
Great place in an old power plant on the river.
Great views, great food and great service. Good selection of local brews.
Had the pork tenderloin with ravioli in a cinnamon type sauce awesome!
My husband, BIL and SIL and I went to Fratello’s on Saturday night – which was Homecoming for many area schools.
