Remember a few weeks ago when we told you about all of the cows that would freshen before the end of July? Here are two adorable heifer calves that are waiting for an open space in the calf barn. ‪#‎calveseverywhere‬

It’s a great day to make hay! Working on getting it merged so the chopper doesn’t have to drive around the field as much.

Using the chopper for making bedding. ‪#‎geterdone‬ ‪#‎claas‬

The pre-fresh group is a little looking a little crowded right now, there 25 cows and heifers due before the end of the month, usually we have 8-10 so things will be a little busy over the next two weeks! ‪#‎realwidairy‬ ‪#‎bringonthebabies‬

Tonight all of the employees spent some time celebrating Leroy’s 25 year anniversary of working for the farm. There have been a lot of changes over the past 25 years and we want to thank Leroy for staying with us through all of them! Even though we spend a lot of time together it is great to have times like these to have fun with all of the employees and their families.

Mary was raking hay with her dad’s old tractor today. We had a long weekend trying to make hay all of the haze and humidity made drying hay a challenge so we had to flip it a few times, but we were finally able to get baling this afternoon. ‪#‎realwidairy‬ ‪#‎wiagproud‬ ‪#‎farmlife‬

We were very thankful for some nice weather this weekend, we were even able to get a few bales made!

Happy Father’s Day to Doug and all of the dads out there! We had a relaxing cookout this afternoon with the family and of course all of the guys had to check out the machinery.

We like to keep a mix of tractor colors around here. For the past few days Doug has been driving “Little Johnny” around, which was one of Mary’s dad’s tractors. Keeping both sides of the family tradition going strong on the farm. ‪#‎wiagproud‬

Back at haying again after some rain last week. We went to pick up the new chopper this morning and were already putting it to work this afternoon, Doug even let Ryan drive!

Getting star, ted on first crop hay and breaking out the Ford tractors, Glenn Behnke would have been proud of this one! ‪#‎ford‬ ‪#‎familytradition‬

Getting corn planted one way or another

Installing new water beds for some of the cows today.

Checking out some hay fields today.

We had a great day at the career fair in Clintonville today! There were 913 area 8th grade students learning about different local occupations. Thanks Tina for your help again this year, we love teaching the students about different opportunities in agriculture! ‪#‎wiagproud‬

Between a couple of inches of rain and thunderstorms yesterday, an inch of snow overnight, and 50 degree weather this afternoon it’s safe to say that mud season has officially arrived! Let the fun begin.

I bet you can guess who we’ll be cheering for in the Final Four tonight! ‪#‎GoBigRed‬ ‪#‎MakeEmBelieve‬ ‪#‎Badgers‬

There is something that never gets old about watching the first few rays of sunlight bounce off of the Harvestores in the morning. Some days it is just the little things.
