Important Note- When traveling on Hwy 73 N from East to West do not turn right on the County Road Z on the corner of the Car Dealership, and Kimmers Bar. It will take you to WI Rapids which is the wrong direction. Continue another 2 mi past Evergreen Bowling Alley, and turn left on County Road Z (South) to the campground.

Work has begun on the new mini golf course. We are excited to bring our customers this long overdue project, and are looking forward to seeing all the smiling faces while playing it.
We have 3 adolescent Bald Eagles camping with us this summer. Pretty cool!

The Wisconsin Trapshooting Association will be holding its 116th Annual State Shoot July 14-19th. Watch as skilled marksman compete at a world-class facility. The complex is located in Rome, WI at Homegrounds RV Park< Inc. just 10 min from us.
The 49th Annual Wisconsin State Water Ski Show Championships will be held July 16-19th in Wisconsin Rapids. This is the largest ski show tournament in the world with 28 teams and 20,000+ spectators. We are just 15 min from the lake.

Exotic Animal and Water Wars Weekend—- -Saturday, July 11th- Nature’s Niche 10 to 12 – “Dino” will be joining us and bringing some cool exotic animals also! Bingo @ 3:00 Water Wars at 6:00. (Bring the super soaker’s and water balloons)

We star, ted camping at Deer Trail this past summer, and we absolutely fell in love. We have not camped anywhere else sinc. e we’ve found Deer Trail. It is a very family friendly park with many activities for the kids. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating to anything you need! DTP has become our new extended family. Thanks for everything you do!.

We are currently taking reservations for the summer (Seems far away at -5F) but now is the time to book if you have a location preference and especially for the cabins.
We are doing a LUAU, Wild West Weekend, Relay Races, and more. It’s going to be a blast! Golf Cart Parade for 4th of July. Track Racing fun at the DTP arcade. Kids Race in Pool. Our family tried Deer Trail Park Campground this weekend and we really loved it. The sites are good sized and overall the campground was quiet. Very pet friendly, it seemed like almost everyone had one or more dogs.
We met some of the seasonal campers, and everyone was friendly. The kids really enjoyed the two playgrounds and the pool. There is a lake, but not much access to it. This didn’t bother us much since there is a pool and the lake isn’t for swimming, only boating/fishing.
Our site didn’t have any shade, I understand a tornado knocked down many trees a few years back.
The owners just planted hundreds of trees, so in a few years there should be shade again. Also, the shower near the pool was fairly dated, but the other shower is beautiful – just remodeled during the off-season. We heard the shower near the pool will be next. We were near the pool, and I saw the owner cleaning the bathroom many times each day, so at least it was clean. Overall we had a great time and rea(…)
