Charlie would like to thank his adoring fans for voting for him in our Summer Fun photo contest. What a handsome boy!

Important information for people with chickens. Dr. Heintz also recommends having new birds examined by a veterinarian before adding them to your flock.

Don’t forget to keep your horses cool in hot weather! Here’s one idea:

Eat some good food and support a great cause!

Happy World Mutt Day! Do you have a Mutt? Mutts are defined as dogs of a mix of undetermined breeds. Share photos of your mutts with us! We love those mixed breeds!

We feel relaxed just watching the video!

Do you have ferrets? Look at this fun use of a child’s ball pit for your pet ferret! Meesha Mae really likes this great toy.

Daily dose of cuteness. Meet Hadrian, the 13-week-old Irish Wolfhound. He is only 30 pounds now, but he will grow into a very big boy. His nearly 2-year-old “brother” Wolfhound weighs in at 147 pounds. Both boys were in to see Dr. Barr recently.

After you see these photos, you are going to want a pig. Both Libby and her pig, Pearl, are adorable.

Dot, the 7-week-old Domestic Shorthair was in to see Dr. Strickfaden recently. Isn’t she cute? We wonder why her mom named her “Dot”. wink emoticon

Look at this adorable face! This is Tater – the 11-week-old Boxer mix. He came to Countrycare for his new puppy exam with Dr. Heintz. What a sweetheart!

A little smile before you star, t your work week.

Charlie is joining our Summer Fun photo contest! His summer is a little different from that of most dogs. He is on the equivalent of “doggie bedrest” as he is undergoing heartworm treatment. He can’t chase this squirrel, but you know he is thinking about it! To vote for Charlie, “like” his photo before August 1st!

Bree Anna is using the weekend to catch up on her gardening. She’s doing a nice job, don’t you think? Good girl, Bree!

Thank you for your recent compassion as we said “Goodbye” to our yellow lab, Pilot. The staff’s demeanor helped us throu. gh this difficult process. We feel confident that he was taken care of with nothing but the utmost integrity after we left.

Without their expertise, kindness and excellent resources, we would not have our lovely Gandalf. They saved his life.

Oliver was here for his wellness exam recently. Bugsy was in to see Dr.
He looked right at home on our counter top. He is so adorable, we all wanted to take him home with us.. Will you be ready in an emergency? You’ll get a portable food/water dish, a slip leash, a pet first aid kit, a disaster preparedness booklet, and waterproof envelope for medical records and a pet blanket – all in a drawstring backpack! With this nice weather, the boarding doors have been open!
Our dogs have the choice of being inside listening to music or outside watching the birds.
Yea for warmer weather! A wave of canine influenza has been spreading outward from Chicago. Other cases have recently been seen in Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio. We do have vaccines available if your dog is at risk.
As with all vaccines, we recommend assessing your pet’s lifestyle and vaccinating only if your pet is at risk.
To learn more, check out this link:. Walter, the tortoise, came to see Dr.
Heintz for a beak trim. Parts of the sides of his beak had cracked and broken, making it difficult for Walter to eat. Heintz got him fixed up and looking as handsome as ever! Brandy came to see Dr.
Strickfaden for her animal chiropractic adjustment.(…)
