Dragon Slayer, a big and bold red wine, is back on the shelves. This Italian wine comes from the nebbiolo grape that is the base for barolo. Full-bodied and dry, with oak and earth influences and complex layers. Pair with red meats and Italian dishes.

The “full monty” is an English term that means the whole thing; everything that is wanted or needed. It also means a completely nude body. At Brambleberry our “Full Monte” is a complete montepulciano wine that is everything you want or need!

The Full Monte and Big Arse Red will be back on the shelves this weekend! If it’s been a while since you grabbed a Big Arse or gone for the Full Monte come on over!

We need your help to veto this unfair provision! See letter below. July 10, 2015 Gov. Scott Walker 115 East Capitol. Madison, WI 53702 Dear Gov. Walker: As the owners of a small but growing Wisconsin winery, we are requesting that you veto a provision in the budget that would prevent wineries from obtaining Class B beer licenses. There has been a lot of confusion about this law in the past couple of years over whether wineries can obtain this license. As a result there has been a hodgepodge of wineries throughout the state getting licenses and some — like us — being told by our town that we could not get one. But the answer to this confusion is not banning wineries from receiving their license. A ban would create an unfair playing field, as wineries who already have the license would be grandfathered in. In our case we were in the middle of the license application process, so we would be doubly-penalized by this provision. And a nearby winery that happens to be in a neighboring town just received their beer license, even though we applied for our license before they did. The answer is to allow all wineries the opportunity to get this license — if they so choose — so that we can continue to promote our growing industry. As you know, wineries are a growing part of Wisconsin’s tourism industry and we pay both excise and sales taxes to help support the state. Taking away that opportunity does not make fiscal sense. This provision in the budget was not requested by the winery industry. It is not good for business, goes against serving our customers and is not fair to wineries. We respectfully request that you veto this provision. Sincerely, Chris and Sherry Hardie
