Great news! The Scholastic Book Fair is such a hit that we are going to open it up tomorrow (Wednesday) from 11am-7pm. Stop by if you get a chance. There are lots of books to choose from along with some other items like posters.
The book fair hours for today are 4-8pm. Anyone can come to buy books and other items not just summer reading program participants. Hope to see you here.

The end of the summer Scholastic Book Fair is fast approaching, August 3-15, 2015. Monday 10am-6pm, Tuesday 4pm-8pm, Thursday-Friday 10am-2pm and Saturdays 9am-noon. The fair is closed Wednesday. It is open to anyone NOT just summer reading program participants so if you miss the local bookstore here is your chance to see the books in person. It will be upstairs in our Welsh Meeting room.

Good news the library has water again so the restrooms are open.
There is a water outage that includes the library, Senior Center and Boy Blue, Because of this the restrooms are closed at the library. We have no estimated time of water arriving but will keep our fans posted.

Summer reading programs is in full swing. I came across this infographic and thought I would share it. Interesting.
Have you met Willie the Book Worm yet? He joined the other lower display units that can be found in our children’s area a month or so ago. Willie’s kid friendly height makes him a popular guy. Dr. Seuss, Look and Find, Dora and Disney books can be found in his display boxes.
The Library’s Entertainment magazines (People, US, MAD. ) and Sports (Sports Illustrated, Boating World, Bicycling, Deer Hunting) have new homes. They are back in the side shelving by the sports and entertainment books. The magazines on carts will be moved to lower shelving by the end of the year. Let us know what you think of the mag|box plastic face out magazine displays we have mixed in if you get a chance.
