Spring has to arrive pretty soon. looking forward to sunshine and air conditioning!
Heating combined with cooling accounts for almost 50% of the energy use in a typical American home, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. That makes it the largest single energy expense for most homes.
Up to 15% of your heat can escape through unprotected windows, but the solar heat gain from the sun during the day can conserve valuable energy. Make the most of the sunlight by opening window coverings on south-facing windows during the day. Also consider closing window coverings in rooms that receive no direct sunlight to insulate from cold window drafts.

Les is a “metal artist” when it comes to solving heating and air conditioning systems.
With his skill to create custom transition pieces for duct runs in his own shop, he can deliver a product at prices that most other HVAC people cannot match. He takes pride in his work, is thorough, and does not skimp on quality. Upon final inspection, the city inspector commented twice on the professional quality of Les’s work, saying that it’s evident Les goes beyond than just meeting the minimum requirements.
Would I recommend Les for your HVAC work? Les was very professional and extremely thorough in regards to every aspect of our A/C system installation. He examined our complete system to make sure we had the correct equipment in place and recommended some very important updates that would make our old heating system more efficient for the winter and summer months.
I would recommend Air Flow Mechanical and Les for any heating or cooling needs you may have!
Les was very cooperative when it came to our job. He worked through all the details and kept up at a pace (We were doing remodeling) so he didn’t slow us down too much. We basically worked on weekends as this was our 2nd home. I would highly recommend AIR FLOW MECHANICAL and L(…)
