Abbotsford, Wisconsin and it’s sister city Colby share a unique distinction. The historic Yellowstone trail runs right through each! It follows Route 29 and turns to Route 13 right in Abbotsford, where it then goes through Colby and Unity. There is so much history and so much to see when traveling the Trail! We will be posting on them regularly. For more info: www.yellowstonetrail.org or www.partner29.com

How close are stores and restaurants to the Abby? This close! Convenient for our guests!
When you’re at the Abby, pick up some Visitor Vouchers! You pay $5 for each voucher, but they are worth $10 at participating businesses around the Abby/Colby area! A serious money saver! We will be posting about participating businesses, so keep checking back. These are issued by the Abby/Colby Chamber of Commerce.
Here is a little room with many purposes. It serves as a small meeting room, gift shop, and a cozy little place for guests to enjoy lounging, visiting, or having their continental breakfast.
Since taking over the Abby Inn in 2007, Ralph and Helen have worked steadily to take the Inn from it’s then rundown condition to a place that guests will feel at home. We will be posting photos that show the ongoing improvements. Here is the first, a double double room, from shortly after they took over up to now.

Happy Holidays! Have you got your New Year’s resolutions written out yet?
It’s looking like a White Christmas this year!
We would like to take this opportunity to say goodbye to a friend. Ms Lucille Daellenbach recently passed away at the age of 97. She was always a happy, positive presence and we will especially miss her at the polka dances! Farewell, Lucille!
Special for the Holidays! Come see the Christimas Parade and make a weekend of it. Just book a night at the Abby Inn, take the free shuttle from the Inn to the Parade, and get a nice discount on your room! Call for details.
Front desk lady was very nice. Not a bad place to stay if you don’t mind the super thin walls and being woke up at 7am.
