How does a laundry dryer squeezes out water from wet clothes?

The spin cycle uses centrifugal force to whisk the water away from the clothes. The clothing is stopped by the walls, but the water can keep moving outward. In the finale rinse it drains the water leaving wet clothes then spins them around to lose water.
