How many linear feet do I need?

Article Tools

A linear foot is a 12-inch measurement of length, where the item’s width and height don’t matter. For example, a piece of flooring that measures 5 feet long, 6 inches wide and 0. 25 inches tall is 5 linear feet. If another piece is 5 feet long, 3 inches wide and 0. 5 inches tall, it’s still 5 linear feet.
