Can you put hot pots on Silestone countertops?

Article Tools

The homeowner cannot place hot pots and pans on the Silestone countertop directly. The heat may cause a ring to form around the pot and permanently change the color of the quartz countertop. It is recommended that a pot -holder, coaster, or trivet be used in between the hot pots or pans and the Silestone countertop.
