The Wisconsin Health Information Exchange was founded to fundamentally change the way medical information is used in health care. Our goal was to create a system that would allow accurate, timely and secure health information exchange across corporate boundaries and across an entire communities. To do this required working with differing data feeds generated from different providers into a regional system and “translating” the information into a platform that would make sense to a physician no matter his or her location and health record system.
