The Wisconsin Health Information Exchange (WHIE) pledges always to respect the privacy and confidentiality of all patient information and data exchange users, including survey participants. The personally identifiable information (the names, email addresses or any other contact information) provided to us concerning patient information is securely stored and not shared with any third party. Complete audit trails are maintained for all users that access protected health information while caring for patients. WHIE is committed to working with the health information exchange and Internet communities in cultivating and maintaining trust between all its members.
